How to: Roast Garlic

Ingredients
  • 1 head of garlic
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Break up the head of garlic by pressing down using the flat side of a large knife. Still using the flat side of the knife, crush each individual clove. Allow to sit for ten minutes.
  3. Place the crushed garlic cloves in the center of the aluminum foil. Drizzle the olive oil on top and wrap the aluminum foil like a present. Place the wrapped garlic on top of a pan and put in the oven for 40 minutes.
  4. Take out of the oven, and carefully open the aluminum foil and allow garlic to cool. Store in the fridge and use within 7 to 10 days.
